Lowell Vaupel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell Vaupel of Carmi, Illinois, born in Burnt Prairie, Illinois, who passed away on May 5, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Vaupel and Coralee Vaupel (Funkhouser); his wife Mary Carolyn Fagan; his siblings, Lloyd Vaupel, Floyd Vaupel, Luther Vaupel, Eloise Vaupel and Mary Helen Young; and his great grandchild Clayton Konrath.
He is survived by: his children, Dwain Vaupel (Debbie) of Marion, IL, Ken Vaupel (Laurie) of Sarasota, FL, David Vaupel (Mindy) of Swansea, IL, Dianna Anderson (Mike) of Carmi, IL and Becky Puckett (Don) of Carmi, IL.; his grandchildren, Courtney Ackerman, Ryan Vaupel, Ty Vaupel, Paige Busch, Rylie Wheeler, Dillon Vaupel, Tarah Evans, Kaci Konrath, Brynn Anderson, Ashley Gibbs, Lindsay Ufert and Grayson Puckett; and his sisters, Madeline Lamp of Carmi and Anna Dennis of Carmi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lowell's memory to Supportive Living of Wabash Activity Department and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
