It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lodella Brown (Carmi, Illinois), born in Equality, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Everett and Rebecca Ruth Curry (Bumpus); her husband Seth Reuben Brown; her son Bobby Davis; her siblings, Roy, John, Ira, Burl, William Curry and Mae Ruth Curry; her son-in-law Kenneth Turner; and her grandsons, Bryan and Steve Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Sethan Chastain (Kevin) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Shelley Turner of Vienna, IL and James Davis (Jeanette) of Carmi; her daughter-in-law Joyce Davis of St. Louis, MO; her sister Roe Farris of Indianapolis, IN; and her grandchildren, Jay, Amy, Tracey, Shannon, Elisha, Tyson and Lyle. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lodella's memory to Adventure Church Children's Ministry and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
