He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Wilson and Dana Wilson (Storey); his wife Joyce Wilson of Carmi, IL; his children, Mark Palmer of Mt. Vernon, IL. and Amy Youngblood (Ryan) of Columbus, MS; his stepchildren, Scott Miller (Pam) of New Harmony, IN. and Tiffany Gosnell of New Harmony, IN; his grandchildren, Anthony Palmer, Nikolas Palmer (Kara), Ethen Loss, Jonathan Youngblood (Allyson), Abigail Youngblood, Sierrha Sollman (Zack), Jordyn McDaniel (Caleb), Kaitlynn Kessinger and Kourtney Nall (Brad); his great grandchildren, Leah Palmer, Sophia Palmer, Noel Loss, William Gosnell, Sylas McDaniel, Elanor McDaniel and Samuel Adam Nall; and his siblings, Cathy Gidcumb (David) of Salem, MO, Carl Wilson (Bonnie) of Potosi, MO, Bob Wilson (Sharon) of McLeansboro, IL. and Ken Wilson (Cindy) of Makanda, IL. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (609 W Main St, Carmi, IL 62821). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family or to Campbell Funeral Home.
