Ken Winter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ken Winter of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben C. Winter and Bernice Winter (Byrne); and his siblings, Barbara Killion, Bill Winter, Bob Winter and Harold Winter.

He is survived by: his children, Craig Winter (Kendra) of Carmi, Ben Winter (Kim) of Carmi and Rachel Hamblin (Charles) of Carmi; his grandchildren, Britany Bradshaw (Ben), Chelsey Dickey (Trent), Colin Winter (Lydia Griffith), Paige Winter and Chance Hamblin; his great grandchildren, Bennett Tomasetti, Piper Tomasetti and Jaxon Bradshaw; his siblings, Omar Winter (Carol) of Dallas, TX, Bonnie Webb of McLeansboro and Ron Winter (Kay) of Carmi; and his close friend Ruth Weaver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken's memory to Emmanuel United Methodist Church for the summer lunch program and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of the arrangements.
