He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ledford and Freda Ledford (Tittle); his wife Carla Ann Ledford (Stewart); his siblings, Clayton Ledford and Doris Stinson; and his son-in-law Scott Prince.

He is survived by: his children, Dan Ledford (Rachel) and Leslie Prince of Carmi; his sisters, Norma Hart of Dahlgren and Nettie Bayler (Harold) of Thackeray, Illinois; his brother-in-law Harold Stinson of Carmi; his grandchildren, Alexa Prince, Bryce Prince and William Ledford; and his great grandchild Charlotte Mason. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
