Judge Henry Lewis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2019, at the age of 93, Judge Henry Lewis (Carmi, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Henry Lewis and Helen Myrtle Pedersen; his stepfather Julius P. Botsch; and his brother Robert Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Pat C. Lewis of Carmi; his children, Jeff Lewis (Paula) of Indianapolis, Kathy Williams (Rick) of Louisville, Dan Lewis (Jennifer) of Merrillville and Sarah Johnston of Carmi; his grandchildren, David Lewis (Mitra), Kristin Lewis, Daniel Williams (Jen), Taylor Hartman (Blair), Ben Williams (Courtney), Claire Bellamy (Ben), Duncan Lewis, Margaret Maxwell (Jason) and Henry Johnston (Emily); his great grandchildren, Hank Hartman, Owen Lewis, Ruthie Hartman, Augie Johnston, Eleanor Bellamy, Miles Johnston, Wesley Geary and Jocie Geary; and his sister Enid Thuermer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made in Judge Lewis' memory to the First Presbyterian Church or the White County Historical Society and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
