He was predeceased by: his mother Verla Maxine Brown (Kiefer); his wife Beverly Brown; and his stepdaughter Melissa Ross. He is survived by: his father Johnny Leroy Brown of Carmi; his children, Edward Brown of Maunie and Suanne Sexton (Chris) of Carmi; his stepson Joe Ross of Indiana; his grandchildren, Keith Brown (Tori) of Boonville, IN, Brandon Newman of Carmi, Sasha Lucas (Chris) of Crossville, Cory Newman of Carmi and Jimmy Sexton of Carmi; and his siblings, Johnny Max Brown (Charlotte) of Palmyra, IN, William "Bill" Brown of Carmi, Chris Brown (Sheri) of Carmi and Judy Coston (Ron) of Carmi. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
