It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Totten of Carmi, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Dorothy A. Totten (Patterson); and his brother Donald Ray Totten. He is survived by: his wife Christine Totten of Carmi, IL; his children, Tamera Kimpland (David) of Land, Timothy J. Totten of Baytown, TX, James Ray Totten (Diane) of Waller, TX and Chrissy Keys (Brandon) of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Lainey Vickers (Randall), Jaycee Totten, Mindy Taylor (Brett), Andrew Kimpland, Keiffer Keys, Kooper Keys and Lola Grace Keys; and his brother Tom Totten (Cindy) of Olney, IL.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jim's memory to First Baptist Church in Carmi or the Carmi Fire Department, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
