Jerry Simmons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Simmons of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Simmons and Anna Marie Simmons (Westergard); and his siblings, Robert, Bill Simmons and Suzie Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Simmons; his sister RoseAnne Stewart (Milton); his sister-in-law Dee Byrd (Jerry); his nieces and nephews, Susan Brown (Adam), Sherry Simmons, Connie Stewart, Scott Simmons (Jennifer) and Doug Simmons (Debbie); and also, Steve, Karlene Garrett, Adam Garrett (Laura) and Lincoln.
In accordance with CDC and State recommendations, social distancing will be observed and masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church or Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
