It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Sneed of Carmi, Illinois, born in Omaha, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laymon Bryant and Mary Bryant (Davis); her husband Bill Sneed; and her siblings, Jane Sneed (Alma) and L. G. Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Edwards (Dave) and Darrell Sneed (Cindy); her granddaughter Star Bertram; her great grandchild Hendrix Wallace; and her siblings, Evelyn Fagan (David), Edna Lovellette and Skip Bryant (Ann).
In accordance with CDC and IDPH recommendations, social distancing will be observed and masks will be required.
Memorial contributions can be made in Jean's memory to the Springerton Church of Jesus Christ and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield, who is in charge of arrangements.
