With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Pumphrey (Carmi, Illinois), born in Wayne, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2019 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Blackford and Neva Blackford (Crackel); and her brother Glendale Blackford. She is survived by: her former husband Eldon Ewing; her husband Jim; her sons, Steve Ewing (Lisa) of Chester, VA, Scott Ewing (Karen) of Herrin, IL and Jason Pumphrey of Belleville, IL; her stepdaughters, Pamela Isakson of Alton, IL and Susan Pumphrey of Junction, IL; her brother Gene Blackford (Peg) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Ariana Teachey and Tyler Ewing; and her great grandchild Shepard Teachey.
Memorial contributions may be made in Janice's memory to the Concord Methodist Church or the Carmi Lions Club and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
