As Janet Sue departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Janet Sue. Though Janet Sue may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Erwin and Nellie Erwin (Farmer); her husband Howard W. Churchwell; and her brother Gary Erwin. She is survived by: her sons, Tim Churchwell (Christy) of Crossville and Tony Churchwell (Stacy) of Carmi; and her siblings, Vickie Moore (Tom) of Carmi and Eddie Erwin (Roetta) of Carmi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (609 W Main St, Carmi, IL 62821).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's memory may be made to Coins for Cancer or Pets at Risk and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who are in charge of arrangements.
