She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Bates and Clora Bates (Newcomb); her husband Henry Absher; her son Ron Absher; and her brother Kermit Bates.
She is survived by: her sister Sue Endicott; her niece Anita Brown; and her nephews, Alan Blazier (Patty) and Dennis Bates (Jan).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jane's memory to First United Methodist Church carpet fund, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
