He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Orval Wesley and Lillie Elizabeth Pretzsch (Cartmill); his wife Patty; his daughter Carrie Gates (Brad) of Carmi; his grandchildren, Joseph and Alexus Gates; his siblings, Robert Pretzsch (Barbara) of Gulf Port, MS and Linda Lounsbery (Ron) of Hillman, MI; his mother-in-law Betty DeLong; his brother-in-law Gary DeLong (Norma); his aunts, Jessie Cartmill and Anna Jones; and his uncle Charles Cartmill. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Carmi White County High School FFA or Maunie Methodist Church and will accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home or by mail to 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
