He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth W. Murphy and Esther Murphy (Renshaw); his wife Ann Hardy-Murphy; his children, Debby Hyatt (Nicolaas) of St. Charles, MO and James M. "Mike" Murphy (Marla) of Bartlett, TN; his grandchildren, Kennedi and Morganne; his brother Larry Dale Murphy of Mt. Vernon, IL; and his nephews, Matt Murphy of St. Louis, MO and J. J. Murphy of Louisville, KY.
