James Gholson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gholson of Carmi, Illinois, born in Broughton, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Randel and Georgia Gholson (Pearce); and his siblings, John, Joe, Charles, Dick, Sylvia Drosdahl, Elsie Auxier and Annette Webb.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Brockett (Pat); his sons, Terry Gholson (Tresa), Tim Gholson (Sherry) of Carmi and Tom Gholson (Tracey) of Nashville, TN.; his grandchildren, Eric Gholson (Krystal) of Carmi, Erin Morrison (Jody) of Carmi, Alex Aud (Denton) of Carmi, Abbey Gholson of Carmi, Andie Bayley (Landon) of Carmi, Jessie Gholson and Jacob Gholson of Nashville, TN.; his great grandchildren, Reece, Hallie, Brinley Gholson, River and Wren Morrison; and his siblings, Jerry of Evansville, IN and Elizabeth Neal of Marion, IL..
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to We Love White County and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
