With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harrell Chilton of Carmi, Illinois, born in Omaha, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harrell Chilton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilbert "Gib" and Fern L. Chilton (Hillyard); and his sisters, Delores Rice, Barbara Brown and Mary Etta Gray.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pat Rodgers of Carmi, IL and Jim Chilton (Jan) of Villa Grove, IL; and his caregivers, Cindy Collins and Krista Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, Nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Baptist Children's Home and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
