With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda Poole of Carmi, Illinois, born in New Harmony, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenda Poole to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold Raymond; her husband John Alex Poole; her mother Wilma Johnson (John Alex Poole); her daughter Paula Hart; and her siblings, Don Redman and Carolyn Hooper.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Brown (Curt) of Strasburg, IL, Tom Poole (Linda) of Carmi and John Alex Poole, Jr. of Odessa, TX; her brother Jim Redman (Sandy) of Paducah, KY; and her grandchildren, Sonya Homann, Lauren Fish, Evan Hart, Valerie Reum, Jacob Poole, Josh Owen, Keegan Poole and McKenzie Miller. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC and State recommendations social distancing will be observed and masks will be required.
Memorial contributions may be made in Glenda's memory to Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
