It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Usery of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Elijah and Violet Aretha Usery (Slocumb); his wife Marilyn Joyce Hansman; his siblings, Danny Usery, John Fishback and Danetta Newman; his granddaughter Heather Ramsey; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Usery.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Winkleman (Dave) of Cynthiana, IN and Kenny Usery of Carmi, IL; his grandchildren, Bryan Ramsey (Brittany) of Norris City, IL and Ashley Bingman (Chad) of Breese, IL; his great grandchildren, Averie Catlin, Stryder Ramsey and Rylan Ramsey; and his siblings, Linda Murry, Jonra Melton (Max) of Fort Gibson, OK and Jim Fishback (Pat) of Carmi, IL..
Memorial Contributions in Gene's memory may be made to the Carmi Fire Department and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
