She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo G. Allen and Eva Lou Allen (Garrett); and her son Chad Braden. She is survived by: her daughter Courtney Thompson (Lucas); her stepchildren, Misty Gwaltney (Bucky) and Brandon Barbre (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Cade, Abby, Isaac, Annabel, Ben, Olivia, Elizabeth, Gracyn, Whitley, Violet and Caleb; and her brother David Allen (Jo).
