He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hamblin and Verna Hamblin (Holtzclaw); and his siblings, Maurice Hamblin, Frederick Wayne "Buck" Hamblin, Vonda Groves, Marie Bell, Shirley French, Eleanor Sumner, Bernice Neu and Sharon Slay.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burner; his children, Randy Hamblin (Janet) of Newburgh, IN, Allan Hamblin (Christine) of Alton and Bonnie Mulligan of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Bethany Hall, Andrew, Matthew Hamblin, Justin Hamblin, Chelsey Niezwaag, Halee, Micha Sheraden and Corbin Mulligan; his stepson Wesley Musgrave; and his sisters, Karen Yates, Ellen Cherry and Lesa Tharau. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
