It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Blockley of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Newcomb and Hattie Mae Newcomb (Cusic); her husband Charles Blockley; her sister Geraldine Balentine; and her half-sister Lois Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughter Monica Blockley of Carmi, IL; and her sister-in-law Frances Blockley of Herrin, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
