He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kistner and Annette Kistner (Dorn); his wife Esther E. Milone; his daughter Sharon Sams; and his siblings, Larry Kistner, Dorothy Stark and Sally Iffert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Zuber (Justin) of Olney, Chris Stradling of Aurora, IN, Debbie Mercer (Rick) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Pam Brown (Stan) of Carmi; and his grandchildren, Rachel Ackerman (Bryan), Brodie Brown, Danny Mercer (Beth), Krystle Anderson (Phillip), Michelle Zuber and Kevin Rennier. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
