She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Mosberger and Bessie Mosberger (Sheraden); her husband Merl E. Owens; her son Glen McTaggart; and her siblings, Etta Ruth Fechter, Norma Jean Swingle, Helen Wickland (Betty Lou Hays) and James Mosberger.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dixie Hale of St. Charles, MO and Valinda Rowe of Enfield; and her grandchildren, Tom Hale, Philip Hale and Christa Hale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pets At Risk in Carmi.
