With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Kern (Carmi, Illinois), born in Stamps, Arkansas, who passed away on November 9, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Don Martin and Anna Lee Martin (Drake); her husband Clarence E. Kern; and her brother Arthur Clarence Martin. She is survived by: her nephew Ron Martin (Rani) of Connecticut; and her friends, Terry West, Connie Garrison, Bob Kiesecoms and Carol Lamont.

“Mr.Martin, I hope you remember me , rita jh Mercer from the social house. I thought you and your family was such a wonderful family. You will always be close to my heart. I loved Clarence and Elizabeth. She was my seventh grade teacher and later became a special friend . I will miss them so. I will always think of what a precious family you was to me. I am so sorry. I just found out she was gone so I couldnt come in to say, good bye.”
