She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank H. Howell and Maude Howell (Kingston); her siblings, Melba Medley, Walter Howell, Doris Watson, Wayne Howell, Victor Howell, Doyle Howell, Ray Howell and Larry Howell; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Diana Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Ridenour, Sr.; her children, Betty Williams (Jerry), Diana Carter, Jr. (Nicholas), Donnie Ridenour (Brenda) and Richard Ridenour; her grandchildren, Nikki Jo Carter, Amy, Eric Denney, Teressa Morgan (David), Gavin and Seanna Ridenour; and her great grandchildren, Abigail and Bruce Schwarzlose.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ruth's memory to Residential Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
