He is survived by: his parents, James Vincent Sheckles of Crossville, Illinois and Reta Joyce Sheckles (Jacobs) of Harrisburg, Illinois; his wife Rebecca Sheckles (Grein) of Carmi; his daughters, Jennifer Brown (Jason) of Lexington, Rachael Gorman (Jeremy) of Clarksville and Mary Grogan (Bobby) of Carmi; his siblings, Tod Sheckles of Harrisburg, Thea Shaw of Harrisburg and Fain Sheckles of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Jacob, Aaron, Dylan, Lacie, Wyatt, Mackenzie, Cadence, Henry, Hannah and Jackson; his nephews, Matthew Shaw (Kelley) and Tristen Bolin; his niece Christina Shaw; and his pet Tinker Bell Blue.
Memorials may be made to Lucky Dog Refuge and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel.
