She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Buddenbaum and Carrie Buddenbaum (Walther); her husband Leroy John Winter; her son Paul John Winter; and her sister Kathryn Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Winter of Carmi, Kathleen Chaffer (Bruce) of Pine Grove and Christine Johnson (Larry) of Altona, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kit Johnson (Heidi), Robin Johnson, Andrew Johnson (Emily), Emily Simpich (Kemper) and Kevin Chaffer; and her great grandchildren, Gideon Boekelman, Ya'el Boekelman, Benaiah Boekelman, Boaz Boekelman, Wren Simpich, James Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Isabelle Johnson and Tanner Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi.
