She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Henry and Elizabeth Steinkuhl (Diekmann); her husband Willard McCord Brockett Jr.; her daughters, Patsy and Nancy Brockett; her siblings, George Henry Steinkuhl, Berthold Steinkuhl, John August Steinkuhl and Marie Katherine Aguirre; and her half-sister Katherine Hoffherr.
She is survived by: her son Jerry; her daughter-in-law Brenda Brockett (Pryor) of Rhinebeck, NY; her nephew Ronald Steinkuhl of Darmstadt, IN; and her nieces, Judy Nall and Dorothy Lantrip (Danny) of Evansville. She is also survived by grandnieces and nephews; great-grandnieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to the White County Sr. Citizens Center or the Our Savior's Lutheran Church Food Pantry in Carmi, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
