He was predeceased by: his son Keenan E. Niekamp; and his sister Maxine Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, George Edwin and Verna Irene Niekamp (Caulkins); his wife Marion; his children, Kathryn Young (Phalos) of Wadesville, IN, Julia Wetstein (Mark) of Warren, OH and George Niekamp (Chris) of Mt. Vernon, IN; his sister Shirley Fulkerson (Russell) of Carmi; his grandchildren, Travis Young, Matthew Niekamp and Marcie McCollum; and his great grandchild Tanner Young.
