He was predeceased by: his parents, Gentry Floyd and Louise V. Hildreth (Topel). He is survived by: his wife Laura Hildreth of Carmi, IL.; his children, Robert Wayne Hooper of Weirsdale, FL. and Dana Jo Ballard of Carmi, IL; his grandchildren, Amber Dawn VanMatre, Christina Ballard and Jason Ballard; and his great grandchildren, Danyon Farris, Zachary Brown, McKinley Ballard, Ethan Ballard, Gracie Ballard, Alexis Belka and Raylan Ballard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Don's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
