He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Mary Givens, Luie and Nell Capps. He is survived by: his parents, Timothy Capps and Patricia Capps (Givens); his wife Audrey Capps of Norris City, IL.; his son Baylor Morris Capps; his stepson Seth Jarvis of Norris City, IL.; his sister Debra Greene of Carmi; his nieces and nephews, Daxton of Carmi, IL., Cobie Greene of Carmi, IL. and Carson Williams of Carmi, IL.; and his pet Waylon. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In accordance with CDC and IDPH recommendations, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED and social distancing will be enforced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Derek's memory to the Capps Educational Fund and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi at 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821, who is in charge of arrangements.
