It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores J. Smock of Carmi, Illinois, born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Wilson and Bonnie Wilson (Williams); her husband Wilburn Duane Smock; and her brothers, Louie, Glen and Dennis Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Monty Smock (Jessie) of Prescott, AZ, Ted Smock (Donna) of Springville, IN, Kendra Williams (Jason) of Carmi and Doug Smock (Kim) of Carmi; and her grandchildren, Chris Smock, Alex Smock (Taylir), Meredith Shelby, Adam Watkins, Justin Smock (Tanna), Kayla Jones (Steven), Ryan Williams (Emily), Travis Williams, Jake Smock (Carlin) and Jon Smock (Allanah). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Beginning Church of God and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
