He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond George and Moudine Elizabeth Maurer (Bloodworth); his wife Evone Maurer; and his brother Dennis Maurer. He is survived by: his children, Louis Maurer (Iris) of Hanover, MD, Rosie Jensen (Tom) of Vacaville, CA, Raymond Maurer of Carmi, IL and Ernie Ortiz of Questa, NM; and his brother Ronald Maurer of Carmi, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
