He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Braden, Jr. and Evelyn Lorene Braden (Helsel); and his son Chad Eugene Braden. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Braden of Carmi; his daughters, Courtney Thompson (Lucas) of Carmi and Meghan Braden (Andy Webb) of Bonne Terre, MO; and his grandchildren, Cade, Abby, Isaac, Annabel, Benjamin Thompson, Chyler Govreau and Noah Joseph Webb.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brad's memory to the Baptist Children's Home or the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
