She is survived by: her husband Ray Smith of Carmi; her children, Barry Smith (Jessica Paranto) of Carmi, Brian Smith of Hillsboro and Rachel Spaide (Stephen) of Mt. Zion, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Kathleen Smith, Jacob Spaide and Ella Spaide.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cook Funeral Chapel (101 Edgewood Ln, Carmi, IL 62821). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church in Carmi, and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel.
