She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Lesby and Audrey Beatrice Morris (Campbell); her husband Elmer Ray Smock; and her brothers, Pat B. Morris and Terry Joe Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Belford (Rick) of Carmi and Layne Smock (Tracy) of Crossville; her sisters-in-law, Judy Morris of Carmi and Ellen Morris of Carmi; her grandsons, Jason Belford (Audra), Jeremy Belford, Erik Belford (Rebecca) and Garland Ray Smock; her great grandchildren, Tori Belford, Molly Bowlin Trenton (Joe), Gabriella Belford, Gavin Belford, Declan Belford and Lilah Belford; her great great grandchildren, Jayden and Macey Bowlin; and her pet Reuben.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brenda's memory to Shriners Hospital for Children and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
