It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Blackford of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Blackford to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Savage and Bertha Savage (Heil); her husband James Edward Blackford; and her siblings, Owen, Jack Savage and Thelma Fulkerson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ronald Savage (Linda) of Carmi, IL. and Donna Neal of Evansville, IN.; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason Blackford, Alexis and Bryce Conner; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Hayden, Dylan, Jaxson, Gabriel and Roslyn.
In accordance with CDC and IDPH social distancing will be observed and wearing masks will be a requirement.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Betty's memory to Carmi Manor and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
