Barbara J. Young Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Young of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Wagner and Mabel Wagner (Schauberger); her husband Herschel E. "Bus" Young; and her siblings, Robert Wagner, Betty Helms, Bill Wagner and Bud Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Donahoo of Centralia and Mike Young (Jeanie) of Carmi; her grandchildren, Dawn McCoy (Jeff), Michelle Phillips, Jason Young and Holly Snow (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Danny McCoy, Matthew Philips, Jordyn Phillips, Samaira Snow, Courtney Snow and Addison Conner; her sister Judy Brown of Evansville, IN; and her brother-in-law Gene Young of Carmi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
