As we bid adieu to Barbara's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Barbara has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin F. Sherman and Roberta N. Sherman (Arrowsmith); her husband Donald E. Sherrard; her son Donald E. Sherrard, Jr.; and her sister Donna M. Sherman.
She is survived by: her son Chris Sherrard of Carmi, IL; her grandson Andrew L. Sherrard; and her siblings, Alvin Sherman of Utah and Louise Nye of Oklahoma.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Campbell Funeral Home (609 W Main St, Carmi, IL 62821).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
