Allen Sailer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Sailer of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sailer and Beulah Sailer (Winter); his wife Helen Garrison; his daughter Lou Keil; his son-in-law Ron Bryant; and his siblings, Glenn, Wayne Sailer, Alma Stanhope and Lola Elliott.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Bryant of Liberty, MO. and Jack Sailer (Gina) of Carmi, IL.; his grandchildren, Sarah Hoskins (Aaron), Lesley Comer (Greg), Jill Loxterman (Brett), Beth Studebaker (Jeff), Kati Inlow (Chris), Luke Sailer (Lindsey) and Chase Sailer (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Noah, Levi Hoskins, Ellie, Reid Comer, Theron, Hunter Loxterman, Griffin, Tucker, Charlotte Studebaker, Maggie Inlow, Tripp and Scout Sailer; his sisters-in-law, Mary Sailer, Betty Sailer and Kate Whipple; his son-in-law John Keil; and his close friends, Laurie Frashier, Richard and Koann Chapman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the John Crawley Scholarship fund established by the class of 1942 (in 1962) for graduates of Carmi High School and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
