Alice Carter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Carter of Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Garrett and Goldie Garrett (Bradford); her husband Nicholas Jacob "Jake" Carter; her son Larry Carter; and her siblings, Fern, Sarah Garrett, John, Henry, Noel, Allen and Charles Olin Garrett.
She is survived by: her sons, Lloyd Carter (Nancsi), Jakie Carter (Lisa), David Carter (Barbara) and Nicholas Carter, Jr. (Diana); and her daughter-in-law Rhoda Carter. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Alice's memory to Ashland Christian Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
