He was predeceased by: his father Earman Hetrick; his wife Betty Huffman; his stepmother Polly Hetrick; his grandson Brian Hetrick; his granddaughter-in-law Dawn Hetrick; and his siblings, Emma Gean Snyder, Rosemary Christiansen and Larry Hetrick.
He is survived by: his sons, William Hetrick Jr. (Lori) of Carman, IL and James Hetrick (Joyce) of Gladstone, IL; his grandchildren, Dusty, Dana, Kevin, Brittany and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Dalton, Jolie, Kaylee, Dylan, Mason and Naomi; and his brother Kendall Hetrick (Jackie) of Lomax, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
