It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Maschhoff (Carlyle, Illinois), who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Maschhoff and Frieda Maschhoff (Brinkmann); his wife Marlene Fischer; and his sister-in-law Jean Fischer. He is survived by: his children, David Maschhoff (Karen), Ken Maschhoff (Julie) and Marla Lopez (Carlos); his grandchildren, Josh Maschhoff (Angela), Ryan Maschhoff (Amy), Nichole Maschhoff (Peter Chapman), Chelsey Maschhoff (Eric Nichols), Cassie Maschhoff, Benjamin Maschhoff, Sabrina Randolph (Kirk Randolph), Sonya Lopez (Alex Petruszak), Carlos A. Lopez (Tara), Alejandro Lopez Sr. (Christina), Alexia Lopez and Olivia Lopez; his great grandchildren, Kyler, Brayson, Zander, Huxton Maschhoff, Austin, Owen Maschhoff, Estevan Lopez, Alejandro Jr., Alessandra Lopez and Sloane Chapman; his brother-in-law Curt Fischer; and his nephews, Adam Fischer (Rebekah) and Paul Fischer. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School of Centralia, IL, Trinity Lutheran Church of Hoffman, or St. John's Lutheran Church—New Minden.
