It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Louvier of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Washington Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Louvier and Marie Louvier (Hrasky); his siblings, Earl, Charles Louvier and Shirley Vlcek; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Wolfbrandt, Ted Castello, Jim Sinnet and Ed Elsing.
He is survived by: his wife Elouise M. Mayfield; his children, Debbie Gonzalez (Rick) and Larry Louvier (Laurie); his grandchildren, Ryan Gonzalez (Megan), Justin Louvier (Kelsey) and Hannah Louvier; his great grandchildren, Ava, Mason and Rhett Gonzalez; his siblings, Richard Louvier (Carol), Darlene Castello, Dotsie Wolfbrandt, Loretta Sinnet, Pauline Elsing and Joan Gauch (Jim); his parents-in-law, Dolores Louvier, Betty Louvier and Frank Vlcek; and also, Trevor Klump, Madison, Christopher, Tanner, Amber Klump, Dain, Stella and Rylynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members.
Walter was chosen to participate in the 2020 Honor Flight to Washington D. C., which was cancelled due to the current pandemic.
