He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Luebbers and Margaret Luebbers (Lake); his son Scott Luebbers; and his siblings, Joseph, Raymond, Daniel, Jack Luebbers and Helen Hollenkamp.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Potts; his children, Diane Duckworth (David) of Flippin, AR, Mike Luebbers (Shirlene) of Hoffman, Phyllis Kraus (Dale) of Dyersburg, TN, Denise Voss (Glen) of Carlyle and Joan Beckemeyer (Curt) of Champaign, IL; his daughter-in-law Maria Luebbers of Nashville; and his siblings, Betty McClintock of California, Marcella Dimock of Oklahoma, Gabriella Luebbers of Illinois, Marion Luebbers of Arizona and Matt Luebbers (Cindy) of Washington. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
His family suggests memorials be made to St. Mary's Church Building Fund or to the Carlyle Fire Department.
