He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Erlinger and Mary Erlinger (O'Brien); his wife Lillian Lou Moss; his brothers, William "Bill" Erlinger and Lester Erlinger; his brother-in-law John Robert; and his sister Evelyn Wiebler (PeeWee).
He is survived by: his son Scott (Natasha Erlinger); his grandchildren, Scottie, Shawn, Sommer, Lucas, Kaylee Erlinger and Ethan Noe; his sisters, Mary Lou Robert and Betty Sue Koch (Vince); and his sister-in-law Betty Erlinger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
