She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Falbe and Violet Falbe (Brown); her husband Charles R. Johnson; her former husband Earl Kinder Sr.; her sons, Michael S. Kinder and William N. Kinder; and her sisters, Jane Roberg, Juanita Griffin, Luretta Orrell and Sandra Powell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Krieger, Robert Falbe, Jr. (Lynn), James Falbe (Kathy) and Richard Falbe (Angie); her children, Ellis R. Kinder of Midway Park, NC, Earl S. Kinder, Jr. of Florida, Carla Eiland (Johnson) of Bolingbrook, IL, Charles N., Paula Johnson (Kelley) of Oak Park, CA and Orson K. Johnson of House Springs, MO.; and her great grandchildren, William N. Kinder, Jr., Dayona Reed, Samantha Peterson (Kinder), Kamron Kinder, Eli C., Cristina Shorkey (Evangelista), Beau Gene Shorkey, Anthony K. Johnson, Teah N. Johnson, Leila J. Johnson, Savannah Shorkey, Garrett Shorkey and Madelyn Peterson. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A celebration of Opal's life will be scheduled in July when COVID-19 travel and gathering restrictions are lifted.
