With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Michael of Carlyle, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Vogel and Mary Vogel (Kleiboeker); her husband Elmer H. "Bud" Michael; her brother Marvin Vogel; and her siblings-in-law, Elinor Boehne (William), Esther Lueking (Wilbert), Bernice Michael and Paul Walther.
She is survived by: her sons, Neal (Roxanne) of Collinsville, Lyle Michael (Joy) of Centralia and Noel Michael (Christie) of Centralia; her grandchildren, Jacob, Clinton (Kala), Austin, Morgan, Reid, Landon, Kali Michael and Hana Murphy (Sean); her sister Arlene Palm (William); and her sister-in-law Agnes Walther. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Grade School of Hoffman, Christ Our Rock High School, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
