Lois Hope Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Hope (Carlyle, Illinois), born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 4, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cramm and Emma E. Cramm (Stewart); her husband Edward Joseph Hope; her son Gregory Hope of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and her siblings, Anna Margaret Schwanger, Ruth Ryan, Emmerson, Theodore, Clifford, Chester, Hamilton and Kenneth Cramm.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Hope of Carlyle, JoAnn Hope of Mt. Vernon and Janet Clifton (Dennis) of Carlyle; her grandchildren, Noel Vanek (Tammy) of Maryville, Patrick Hope of Arkansas, Tiffany Hope of Arkansas, Michael Clifton (Alison) of St. Louis and Rebecca Hope of Centralia; and her sisters, Eleanore Muffley of Florida and June Johnson of Virginia. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren.

Donations in her memory are suggested to the Carlyle Ministerial Alliance or Caring for Carlyle and will be received through Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle.
